Tilt is an exhibition of paintings and cyanotype prints produced with sunlight that has passed through the windows of Marquand Chapel. The prints were made during two important astronomical weeks—the Autumnal Equinox, and the Winter Solstice—capturing different moments of light during earth's position in its orbit around the sun. While cyanotypes are often made outside in direct sunlight, these prints were made with sunlight that had passed into the building, passing through the filter of the Chapel’s windows and architecture.
